PFMs

Classic Dental Lab uses 100% unshrinkable silver-free metal, from nationally-renown manufacturers, which allows for easy and precise fittings and minimizes the likelihood of allergic reactions. All of our porcelain comes in natural-looking shades to maximize the aesthetic value of the PFM restoration.

We at Classic Dental Lab take pride in delivering consistent, high-quality results with each case. Our goal is to ensure that every PFM restoration provides perfect fit, contacts, occlusion and beautiful aesthetics, which not only guarantees patient satisfaction, but also minimizes time spent on unnecessary adjustments. Our technicians always use a solid model for final adjustments to ensure this outcome.

Our technician’s skill, precision and meticulousness ensure that once the PFM is complete and the porcelain is fully fused to the metal, the blue line is not visible at the margins, the metal work is clean, and the resulting fitting is precise.

High Noble Gold Restorations

Classic Dental Lab’s highly skilled technicians specialize in gold restorations. The outstanding physical and mechanical properties minimize tooth-preparation time and result in less tooth-reduction. Gold restorations allow for highly accurate fit and marginal integrity, resulting in excellent aesthetics, with no visible blue line at the margin.

Gold restorations are more durable than standard PFMs as porcelain bonds better to gold than it does to metal. Classic Dental Lab only uses gold of 87% or higher purity.

As gold restorations are metal-free, there is less bacterial build-up and risk of infection, and patients do not develop allergic reactions.

Full Cast Restorations

Full cast restorations are ideal where occlusal space is limited. Full cast restorations can be cast from any metal, including our high noble gold. In cases where porcelain restorations are not possible, the full cast restoration provides a strong, long-lasting alternative. Our full cast restorations are biocompatible, plaque resistant and demonstrate outstanding fit and comfort.

Maryland Bridge (Resin-Bonded Bridge)

The Maryland Bridge is minimally invasive and calls for less tooth reduction than other dental restorations. The Maryland Bridge not only conserves as much of the natural tooth structure as possible; its flexural strength creates long-lasting durability, which make it a great alternative to conventional bries.

Metal-Free Restorations

Zirconia, e.Max®, Procera, Lava™

For metal-free restorations Classic Dental Lab uses natural zirconium base, which combines unbeatable strength with uncompromised beauty. The zirconium can be cemented or bonded, and our skilled technicians always deliver a precise marginal fit. Our metal-free restorations are compatible with all mouth and teeth types and shades. Metal-free restorations are versatile and can be used for crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays, onlays and implant abutments.

The flexural strength of Zirconia makes Zirconia-based restorations extremely resilient to chipping and fracture. Zirconia’s inherent strength and durability creates exceptional functionality without compromising aesthetic quality. Zirconia’s translucency, which is only slightly more opaque than dentin, and Zirconia’s ability to penetrate material as opposed to surface stain, gives the final restoration a beautiful, highly natural appearance.

Our metal-free restorations are biocompatible with natural and man-made materials, and have been used without any reports of toxicity, sensitivity or patient allergy. Zirocnia’s strength, allergy-free properties and high aesthetic quality provide a great alternative to traditional PFMs.

Inlays/Onlays (OPC Empress®)

OPC Empress® is one of the most popular all-ceramic systems for highly aesthetic and natural-looking restorations. As OPC Empress® is slightly softer than regular porcelain, it does not damage or destroy surrounding or opposing teeth. OPC Empress® is available for any tooth shape or shade. The utilization of bonded ceramic restorative material enables the functionality, shape, color, strength and appearance of natural dentition, and always with precise-fitting margins.

Veneers

Classic Dental Lab’s custom-crafted veneers provide a natural-looking solution chipped, cracked, uneven, or abnormally spaced teeth or even for worn enamel. Classic Dental Lab specialized in traditional porcelain veneers as well as zirconia veneers.

Porcelain Veneers: Porcelain veneers are thin yet extremely durable, and are custom-made to fit all shapes and shades of teeth. Porcelain veneers are bonded to teeth, and are always natural-looking. Classic Dental Lab’s computer-milling technique ensures a precise fitting. Because of their durability, comfort and high aesthetic quality, veneers are often the alternative to traditional crown restorations.

Zirconia Veneers: Like porcelain veneers, Zirconia veneers create a beautiful, natural-looking, cosmetically uniform smile. However, due to the physical properties of Zirconia, these veneers are stronger and pose less of a risk for fracture or breakage than do traditional porcelain veneers.

All UCLA-type implants are screwable or cementable. For custom abutments we use high noble gold. For regular abutments we use non-precious metal or Zirconia, however, high noble gold is available upon request.

Diagnostic Wax-up

Diagnostic wax-up models provide dentists with precise planning tools for restorative work. Our experiences technicians refine and perfect the tooth shape and position to form an accurate impression of a patient’s mouth, allowing dentists to work together with their patients, using the visual model to solve a particular dental problem by visualizing the final restoration.
